Vedic Dreaming

Poetry
Not long ago,
Barely three weeks
Gone by,
A wise woman
warned me—

With that slithering snake
Watch out.

Hush, hush,
&
Keep her (slightly)
Tamed,

Yet
Alive
&
Lively,
Snakily-snake,

Hopefully,
Fightingly,
Kicking.

Trust your intuition,
She said,
She said,
There is more
Than meets
Some virtual eyes.

Calm down
And swim,
Breathe and cry,
And purify,

Hush, hush,
& Keep her
(Slightly)
Tamed.
Yet
Alive
&
Lively,
Snakily-snake,
Hopefully,
Fightingly,
Kicking.

Steady that pace,
Get back that strength,
For those that help,
You keep keep it
Flowing,
So they can sail,
Through those
Unpredictable
Stormy
Ocean
Waves.

Alive
&
Lively,
Snakily-snake,
Hopefully,
Fightingly,
Kicking.

Wise woman’s
Last words
Were—

Keep writing,
Reading,
Sharing those verses,
That both elate,
And eerily
Get you to flow,
And think,
And love,
And grow.

To keep
fightingly,
Yet
Lucidly
Dreaming,

Alive
&
Lively,
Snakily-Snake,
Kindly
Kicking,
Hush, hush,
Good snake.

Trust your intuition,
She said,
she said,

And I guess that’s true,
That not all déja vus
Are painful,
Souls just forget,
When casually tired.
Or scared,

That some memory
They should re-create,
As one dark
Hairy
Lonely
Funky
Loving
Soul
Once said,
Once said.

Sometimes
Playing with fire
Is needed,
No fear
Of getting
Slightly
Burned,

Taming
That snake,
Glimpses of
Ecstatic smiles,

Such lucid dreaming,

Fire-walk
With her,
Keep her
Alive,
Snakily-Snake,
Steadily,
Kindly,
Kicking,

She said,
She said.

Trust your intuition,
Do what you want,
Just read it wisely,
Kindly,
Lovingly,

Such Lucid Dreaming
