Pet Paw Poem

Poetry
we call it it
it has no name
it takes a beat
to keep it dancing

it plays no games
been out of sync
but sometimes feet
tap in unyson

the tune that makes
those flowers bloom
those eyes fall sleep
and wink out sadness

/Serious
Smart
Wave,
 Sparkling
Smile,
 Conceals
A quirk,
&
Flying
Kindness/

. . .

we call it it
it has no name
it takes two beats
to keep it swinging

call it by name,
no name
but sense,
no sense
but Love,
and Freedom
Fighting

/Freedom
&
Love,
 Communal
Fight,
 Sweat
Flight
&
Float,
Sense
Out
Of
Darkness/

. . .

we call it it
it has no name
it takes three beats
to keep trip-hopping

pet
freedom
fight,
and all that jazz

all masks
no masks
those freedom fighters

life is a cabaret
and all that zazz
sweat
flight
&
float,
Breathe
&
Smile

look at how beautiful,
you really are,
facing the camera,

or just behind it.

caressing,
monochrome,

creative,

angle

. . .

we call it it
it has no name
don’t call the time
do freeze some moment

desire deep
spread around
and fix those wings
for artsy causes

Seize that chance
Sweat and spread
Sweet and salt
Together dance

Listening to the
Eternal
Ephemeral
Beating
Song,

By the funky river,

Late at night,

Under
The
Existing
Trusting
Illuminating
Moonlight.

Elated
Dance.

Respect,

Accept.

Without a name,

This is
Still
A
Loving
Pet
Paw
Song,

You're a beautiful
reflective poem too.

Admire.
Think.

Be human.

I am,
I think,
I doubt,

I love,

Still great
Being
Naively
Human

Do. love.

Evolve

  1. Do love.
    Evolve.
Stunning poetry friend. Really profound. It does sing like a likeable, rhythmic song,
    “We call it it!”
Really enjoyed the spirit of it. I guess the skies have cleared up!

    • yeah, that was meant to be read in a lullaby-like rhythm indeed, and sure there was the inner/outer loving evolving spirit intention at the time of writing it.

    • Thanks Ben. Indeed it is, indeed it is. I hope machines will never replace us in that respect – love; and creation. there is (non-blind) hope.
      🖤
      Thanks for the feedback.

      • You’re welcome. Yeah, let’s hope these smart phones and such don’t get smarter than us. Artificial intelligence has it’s dangers. Enjoy your day!
