Paper Skin

Poetry
A Purple Heart
Imperfect skin
Short wavy hair
A fearsome dream

A hippy dress
An old por-trait
Odd beauty Queen
A damning mess

She wants all true
He wants it real
Through shining dark
Sound wisdom, near,

Those whispered words
They almost touch
A tear,
A tongue,
A tell-tale
Fear

Eternal score
And kissing wool
Handwritten note
Old paper jewel

That windstorm child
Crawling through words
Poetic fence
Well-hidden
Sense

Old portrait smile
That soft dark hair
A kissing dream
A sigh,
Caress

A Purple Heart
Old paper skin
A tear sheds
That silent Queen

Combing through words
And soft dark hair
A kiss,
A song,

On dear
Paper
Skin
